About the event

On the third Thursday of every month, you can learn how to save lives with Naloxone with FREE virtual training through St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester. Presented by Lillian Neuman, CASAC, Director of Outreach and Prevention Education at St. Vincent’s and in partnership with Drug Crisis in Our Backyard.

Naloxone is a prescription medicine that reverses an overdose by blocking heroin or other opioids in the nervous system for 30-90 minutes. Naloxone is administered by injection or intranasal.

Following training, participants receive a kit by mail.
