What is GoGoGrandparent?
GoGoGrandparent is a 24/7 ride service that lets you book on-demand or scheduled rides
with just a simple phone call. Rides can be scheduled within Orange County, wherever
Uber/Lyft drivers operate.
Who is Eligible?
• You must be 60 years or older
• You must live in Orange County
• You must have a cellphone
NOTE: Individuals who receive Medicaid Medical Transportation are not eligible for medical rides through this program. There are additional needs-based criteria to be discussed upon inquiry and the registration process. Availability is based on program funding.
When Can I Ride?
There are no restrictions on the time of day or day of the week for pre-scheduled rides.
What Does it Cost?
The Orange County Office for the Aging will cover 100% of the cost for a limited number of
round-trip rides.
Riders must be registered through the Office for the Aging before using the service.
Where Can I Go with GoGo?
You can schedule rides within Orange County for:
• Non-emergency medical appointments (within Orange County)
• Visiting loved ones in hospitals or nursing homes
• Faith-based activities
• Social events at local senior centers
• Voting sites
